LABOUR TROUBLES.
STRIKE AT PORT PIRIE,
ADELAIDE, January 2
The men employed in the Proprietary mine's smelting works at Port Pirie have come out in sympathy with their comrades at the Barrier works. The works are carefully picketed. COLLAPSE OF WEAVERS' STRIKE. LONDON, January 1. The Hebden Bridge (Yorkshire) weavers' strike has collapsed, after lasting forty-two weeks. Ths strike cost the Weavers' Amalgamated Association £23,000.
