NEW PHONOGRAPH RECORDS.
Thevwell-knowh phonograph denot, trading as "The v Talkeries," situate opposite the Club Hotel, in Mason's Buildings, has passed into the hands of theileading firm in New Zealand for this class of .goods. P. Holton and Co., of Willis Street, Wellington, have purchased this business and appointed a local branch manager to carry on the business. Hugo stocks of records have been installed, and a large'quantity of Edison phonographs are to be opened on January 3rd, 1909, these machines just being landed in .New Zealand. Mr Holton is the pioneer dealer of New Zealand, and his large connection, wholesale and retail, speaks volumes for his up-to-date business methods. Amongst the new records for October is a hay duet by Ada Jones and Billy Murray, No. .9,950, "Cuddle up a Little x Closer Lovey Mine," and a new ballad, by Manuel Rqrnain, "I Lost my'\Heart." 9,954. The Edison list constats of the usual twenty-four recor:q\. and the Scotch comedian, "Harry\Lauder,". Mings four new songs qufte up to his usual form,' 13,741 V,,"Hey Donal," 13,742 "The Wedding of \Sandy McNab," 13,743 "Fou %he Nbo," 13,744 "When I Get Back Agai\< Tae Bonnie Scotland." These records by this popular artist are much sought after by phonograph users. Unlike other lines, these goods speak for themselves in no uncertain voice.
