HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS.
WAIRARAPA CALEDONIAN SPORTS. The annual sports gathering in correction with the Wairaiapa Ca'edonian Society is to be held on the "Masterton Showgrounds to-morrow, and if the weather remains fine there should be a record attendance. The entries in every event are large, and some noted pedestrians are competing. In the wood-chopping and sawing events, exciting contests can be anticipated. Uwirg to the lengthy programme to by got through the sports will be commenced at 10.30 a.m.
A really attractive programme of vocal and instrumental items has been arranged for the concert to be held in the Town Hall in the evening. A glance through the items set out in an advertisement on page 1 of this issue will give an idea of the treat in store for those who attend.
