(From Our Resident Reporter). CRICKET. The Kilbirnie Cricket Team travelled to this town on Christmas morning and played against the local team. Our boys never had a say in either innings, but improved somewhat in the second spell. The small score of 11 in the first innings and 38 in the second, totalling 49, wa3 made toy Pahiatua, while Kilbirnie made 43 and 71, beatfng the local team by 63 runs. MANGATAINOKA SPOSTS. The Mangatainoka Athietic Society had splendid weather for their tenth annual meeting on Boxing Day.
