DUNEDIN NORTH SEAT.
A PETITION LODGED. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, December 23. This afternoon an election petition was lodged. with the Returning Officer for Dunedin North by Messrs Solomon, Gasgoibe and Hay, solicitors for Mr A.- R. Barclay. The petition prays that the present declaration as to the result jf the poll should be set aside and that Mr Barclay should be declared elected member, or in the alternative that a new election should be held.
