M'DOUGALL'S TO THE FORE AGAIN. IT is now four years ago since Messr: McDougall Bros first put on tli< market their now famous Arsenii Sulphur Paste Dip, and since then thi volume of output has been enormously increased. The following are a few of thi reasons, culled from the numerous unsolicited testimonials coming to hanc by every mail, why it is becoming the popular dip with New Zealand flockowners:— 1 r It is easily msxed with cold water of any quality. 2. It does not separate like powder but remains in solution, reducing the quantity of sediment to a mini mum. 3. It does net rob the wool of it; natural yoke, nor harden the staplo thus leaving it beautifully soft anc lustrous. 4. It destroys the eggs ai well as the parasite, and ad heres to the fleece, thus rendering reinfection impossible before shearing. 5. It is a preventive of Maggc I Fly which unfortunately is i menace to sheepfarmers throughout the Dominion. 6. It has been officially approved bj the British Board of Agriculture. 7. It is supplied at a guaranteed and uniform strength at a reasonable Co3t. At the Royal Agricultural Society's Show, held at Newcastle-on-Tyne, in July last, McDougall Bros.' Dips came out on top, taking thirty-five first prizes and special prizes attached for sheep dipped in McDougall's, thus proving the superiority of this wellknown composition. The following letter Speaks for itself : Hakowhai, Hawke's Bay, N.Z., August 20th, 1908. Afarswo UTnTkrvnrefill Prna
Messrs McDougall Bros., Manchester. Dear Sirs, —I have used your Arsenic Sulphur Paste Dip since its introduction to the Colony, nearly four years ago. 1 am pleased to say that it has given me entire satisfaction, and for keeping; the sheep free from ticks, lice, and as a preventive against the "Fly," it surpasses any dip used by me previously. The water I use is full of lime, yet it mixes nicely, and, like your old "NonPoisonous" fluid, leaves the wool beautifully soft and lustrous. You are at liberty to make whatever use of this letter you wish. My flock (of 7,000 sheep) is open to inspection by anyone desirous of doing so, the sheep again this season being beautifully free from parasites. Yours faithfully, (Signed) HUGH McDONALD.
