INSTALLATION DEFERRED
OWING TO LACK OF FUNDS

MELBOURNE, December 22.
The Federal Postmaster-General (Hon. J. Thomas) has received six tenders from all parts of the world, for the installation of a system of wirelsss telegraphy, between toria, Tasmania, and the adjoining\ islands. Owing to the want of funds the Postmaster-General will be compelled to return all the tenderers' deposits. The installation of the wireless system will have to remain in abeyance for some time.
