"CASTE."
At the Town Hall, on Boxing Night, Mr Charles Blake and a specially selected company, will produce the Robertson comedy "Caste." A. contemporary says:—"The author, in writing this comedy, has been criticised by the press and public, as the greatest of all comedy writers; his knowledge of human nature to be depicted on the stage characters of every day life has reached a level attained by only one compeer, the immortal bard William Shakespeare. 'Caste' was dedicated to one of England's famous actresses in the person of Miss Merie Wilton, and produced in London for one thousand nights." Mr Charles Blake is known to Masterton audiences as a very careful and conscientious actor, and has selected a play that should suit all.
