VALUABLE DISCOVERY OF MARBLE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER, December 21. It is reported that a valuable discovery of a marble field has been made about ten miles from Dannevirlce. A sample brought to Napier and polished gives a surface equal to that of the finest Italian marble. The discoverers state that the field is of unlimited extent. \ Government will be asked to procure a reliable report.
