DEMONSTRATIONS IN THE COMMONS.
A COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATIONS.
Received December 21, 1.50 p.m. LONDON, December 21. The Committee of the House of Commons recommends that applicants for admission to the galleries of the House should sign a promise not to create a disturbance while they are in the House. This recommendation is the outcome of the recent suffragette demonstrations in the House.
. The Committee also recommend the passing of a Bill punishing offenders with imprisonment without the option of a fine.
