IT is now four years ago since Messrs McDougall Bros, first put on the market their now famous Arsenic Sulphur Paste Dip, and since then the volume of output has been enormously increased. The following are a few of the reasons, culled from the numerous unsolicited testimonials coming to hand by every mail, why it is becoming the popular dip with New Zealand flockowners : 1 r It is easily mixed with cold water of any quality 2. It does not separate like powder, but remains in solution, reducing the quantity of sediment to a minimum. j 3. It does not rob the wool of its natural yoke, nor harden the staple, I thus leaving it beautifully soft and lustrous. 4. It destroys the eggs as well as the parasite, and adheres to the fleece, thus rendering reinfection impossible before shearing. 5. It is a preventive of MaggclFly, which unfortunately is coming a menace to sheepfarmers throughout the Dominion. 6. It has been officially approved by the British Board of Agriculture. 7. It is supplied at a guaranteed and uniform strength at a reasonable cost. At the Royal Agricultural Society's Show, held at Newcastle-on-'J'yne, in July last, McDougall Bros.' Dip 3 came out on top, taking thirty-five first prizes and special prizes attached for sheep dipped in McDougall's, thus proving the superiority of this wellknown composition. The following letter speaks for itself : Hakowhai, Hawke's Bay, N.Z., August 20th, 1908. ■Messrs McDougall Bros., Manchester. Dear Sirs,—l have used your Arsenic Sulphur Paste Dip since its introduction to the Colony, nearly four years ago. 1 am pleased to say that it has given me entire satisfaction, and for keeping the sheep free from ticks, lice, and as a preventive against the "Fly," it surpasses any dip used by me previously. The water I use is full of • lime, yet it mixes nice!}, and, like your old "NonPoisonous" fluid, leaves the wool beautifully soft and lustrous. You are at liberty to make whatever use of this letter you wish.
