ARMIDALE MURDER.
THE INQUEST. FRESH EVIDENCE. Received December 18, 10.55 p.m. SYDNEY, December]B. The inquest on Miss Hannah Kelly, who was found murdered in the Central Hotel, at Armidale, was resumed to day. The only fresh evidence was that of a witness who deposed to hearing someone creep stealthily upstairs a couple of hours before the tragedy was reported. TARIFF REVISION. Received December 18, 10.55 p.m. NEW YORK, December IS. Mr W. H. Taft, the newly-elected President of the United States, speaking at New York, implied that he would veto any Tariff Revision Bill disregarding the promises made to the National Convention at Chicago.
