(in conjunction with Messrs Levien, Shallcrass rod Co.) will sell at Carterton the •wfeole of the contract plant, consisting of draught horses, drays, wag•goT.3, road grader, ploughs, scoops, sets of harness, etc. Mr Jones has completed his contract with the Carterton Borough Council, the whole plant will be sold absolutely without reserve. During the ' past few days scores of residents of Mastertor. an 3 the ■surrounding districts have .visited Mr Frank Dupre's shop in search of goods suitable for Christmas presents, and as the stocks are so 'large and varied, selection has been made easy. The magnificent display of silverware has been very •favourably commented on, and splendid sales have been effected. Mr Dupre reports that a pleasing feature of the business done within the " last week is the large number _of mail orders received .from outlying parts.
