STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at their Masterton yards yesterday when they submitted a logue fully up to advertised numbers. Sheep and cattle were well represented, and owing to the very welcome rain the latter met with a spirited sale. We quote:—Fourtooth wethers 12s 3d, 2-tooth wethers 10s 3d to lis 3d, ewes and lambs 15s to 16s Id. Cows in milk £2 10s to £3 ss. springing cows £2 12s 6d to £5, fat cows £2 16s to £4 2s, 18-month heifers 31s. 2-year-old heifers £2 5s 6d, 18-month steers, £2, 2-year-old steers £2 lis 6d, 3 and 4-year-old steers £5 Is. cows and calves £2 lis, and a line of fat and forward cows £3 19s.
