Sir S. T. Evans, Solicitor-General, speaking at Nantymoel, Glamorganshire, prophesied that Mr LloydGeorge, Chancellor of the Exchequer, would adopt the principle of a graduating income tax. Personally, said the SolicitorGeneral, he hoped it would be possible to increase the estate duties on millions devcWing at detth. MINERS EIGHT HOURS BILL. READ A THIRD TIME. Received December 15, 10.55 p.m. LONDON, December 15. In the House of Commons, the Miners Eight Hours Bill was read a third time by 264 votes to 89.
