GUILTY OF "GRAFT."
TRIAL OF ABE RUEF. Received December 14, 8.50 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 13. Abe Ruef was founl guilty of "graft," after many week's trial. The majority of the inhabitants of San Francisco no longer accl?im Ruef and ex-Mayor Schmitz. Ruef, a lawyer, was with Schmitz, ex-Mayor of San Francisco, found guilty on many charges of corruption. Schmitz was released on appeal and Ruef liberated on bail, pending a new trial. The corruption and bribery carried on by the pair was astounding.
