Messrs Mitchell , Griffith and Co., Ltd., report weekly sales as follows: Pigs—Weaners 14s to 17s, small stores 21s, stores 22s 6d to 265. Poultry—Hens'3s 6d to 4s per pair, ducks I 4s to 5s per pair, geese 3s 3d to 3s 9d each. Horse £5 lQs, gig and harness £l2, rustic cart and harness £l2 10s. Farm produce—Potatoes, old, 8s 6d; new, ISs 6d per cwt; onions 15s per cwt, ricemeal 13s Sd, barley meal 13s, oats 3s 3d, fowlwheat 3e, separator butter lid, eggs lOJd; cabbage, rhubarb, and other produce brought satisfactory prices. Gooseberries and small fruits are now coming to hand. LONDON MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cable message from their London houpe, under date of the lOtti instant: — Frozen Meat There is rather a better demand for beef at unchanged prices. Mutton—Market very dull and prices are unchanged. There is a very small demand for lamb, and since our last telegram prices are &d lower. Tallow—Since our last telegram low and inferior are 6d to Is higher, and for good descriptions prices are uncharged.
