CANDIDATES'" EXPENSES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 13. Mr Henry Bodley, who contested the Wellington North seat at the general election, has furnished the Returning Officer with a return showing that his total expenses amounted to £ls 10s, the whole sum being expended in advertising and printing. Mr A. L. Herdman's expenses amounted to £lO6 19s 7d at at the first ballot and £4B Is 2d at the second. Of the first mentioned, £29 14s 6d was for advertising, £8 16s for printing, £32 3s 6d for halls, £ls for a secretary, and £l2 Is 7d for postage.
