WELLINGTON, December 18,

Peter Colin Hume, aged 20, was handling a revolver at his residence, Kilbirnie Road, when the charge exploded, the bullet lodging in his head. He was taken to the Hospital. His condition is said to be serious. A man named Thomas Randall, who arrived from Sydney a fortnight ago, is reported by the police as missing since last Wednesday. He had been in a depressed state of mind through being out of work.
