Training operations for ths world's sculling championship proceeded in usual fashion to-day, both men covering the full course. It is expected that they will ease down after Saturday. Whelch this mo>ning notified , his backers at Christchurch accepting Fogwell's challenge to row at Akaroa for & stake of £IOO.
