WEDDING.

WRIGHT-BE VERIDGE,

A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Congregational Church yesterday afternoon, the Rev. A. Hodge being the officiating Minister. The contracting parses were Miss May Beveridge, third daughter of Mr and Mrs George Beveridge, of Wellington, and Constable G. Wright, eldest son of Mr George Wright, of Smeaton, Victoria. The bride, who was given away by Mr R. J. Williams, was prettily attired in white silk with orange blossoms and veil, and she carried a shower bouquet. The bridesmaids were Misses Madge Williams, who wore a dainty pale green frock, and a white hat, and Doris, and May Wilkes, who were attired in white frocks and coats, with hats to match, each carrying a basket of choice flowers. Constable Dunn, of Masterton, acted as best man, and Mr R. Mcintosh as groomsman.

The bridegroom's present to the bride was a silver-mounted toiletset, and to the bridesmaids, Misses Williams and Wilkes—two—a greenstone dagger brooch and goldinitialled brooches, respectively. The bride presented the bridegroom with a handsome dressing-case.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mrs R. J. Williams, of Perry street, where a large number of guests were entertained. Mr and Mrs Wright leave for Auckland this morning where the honeymoon i 3 to be spent. The bride's travelling dress is a cream serge costume, and a picture hat.
