WOOL SALES,
Messrs iLevin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from the National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New /Zealand, Ltd., London, dated iDecember '3rd, 1908:—"The wool sa'lesare proceeding with great epirit. Bidding is particularly keen for ithe best greasy wools. There is a hardening tendency in the market to the extent of 5 per cent for merinos' and crossbreds generally. Americans are operating freely."
