AUSTRIA PREPARING FOR POSSIBLE EVENTS. INCREASING THE ARMY IN THE SOUTH. PROBABLE REPRESENTATIONS. BY FRANCE, RUSSIA, AND BRITAIN.
LONDON, December 4
Reports affirm that Austria is increasing her army in the south by 60,000 men.
The "Telegraph's" Paris correspondent says that Britain, France, and Russia are about to address Austria, making firm representations regarding her menacing preparations, and emphasising the fact of Servia's prompt, effective compliance with the recent appeal from the Powers. A NAVAL MOVE BY AUSTRIA. STEAMERS WITH TROOPS LEAVE FIUME. UNDER SEALED ORDERS. DESTINATION BELIEVED TO BE CATTARO. TWO TRANSPORTS TO tOLLOW. * Received December 6, 8 p.m. VIENNA, December 6. Two steamers with troops ha.ve left Fiume Under sealed orders. The destination ia believed to be Cattaro. Two more are to follow.
