ROME, December 2
Professor Fusinah initiated an interesting debate in the Italian Chamber of Deputies. He expressed approval of the Government's foreign policy, especially towardd Austria. Signor Barzilai created a sensation by stating that when Count Robilant was Foreign Minister Austria had expressed her willingness to cede Trentin to Italy in the event of definite annexation by Austria of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Trer.tin is a part of the Austrian Tryol touching Venetia and Lombardy on the south, east, and west. In airea it is about 2,430 square miles. The country is very fertile, well cultivated. and abounding in mineral springs. Count Robilant was Italian Foreign Minister in 1881, when a strong attempt was made to draw Italy into the orbit of the AustrpGerman alliance. Robilant acted with great caution, being anxious that Italy should not seem to beg a smile from the central Powers.
