WEDDING.
TOVEY—CLARKSON. A very pretty wedding, in which many Masterton people will be interested, took place on Monday afternoon at the residence of Mrs Jas. Whittaker, South Road. The bride was Miss Lurline Clarkson, matron of i J atea Hospital, and daughter of Captain Clarkson, harbourmaster, Timaru, and sister of Mesdames J. Whittaker and F. J. Dupre, of Masterton. The bridegroom was Mr Hamilton Dunbar Tovey, teller at the Bank of New South Wales at Patea, and third son of Captain Tovey, late of the 70th Regiment. The bride, who is well and popularly known in Masterton, was given away by her brother, and wore a dress of white taffeta, with veil and orange blossoms. She looked very charming in her bridal costume. The bridesmaid was Miss Vera Edwards, who wore a grey silk, and who carried a pretty pink bouquet. Mr H. H. Reynolds was best man, and Mr A. Tovey, brother ,of the bridegroom, •was groomsman. The Rev. J. N. officiated. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residue of Mrs Whittaker. The honeymcXm is being spent in the North. \
