OBITUARY.
CHARLES HOLLOWAY, ACTOR. Received November 30, P. 5 a.m. MELBOURNE, November 30. Charles Holloway, the actor, is dead. Mr Charles Holloway was known the length and breadth of New Zealand. His name has been before the play-going public of Australasia for < very many years. Of late Mr Hollo- j way had toured with his owu- company, with his daughter, Miss Beatrice Holloway, as leading lady. The company disbanded at the ( beginning of the year, and Miss { Holloway and her mother (Miss Alice Deorwyn) were members of Meynell and. Gunn's dramatic company which played in Masterton last < September. Mr Holloway had not been in the best of heaith for some time past. . He was an able actor and stage manager. Mr Richard Stewart,, of J. C. Williamson's staff, is brother-in-law to the deceased.
