WILFUL MURDER.
By Telegraph—Press Association. INVERCARGILL, November 29. The body of a newly-born infant 'was found by a farm hand on Saturday morning lying by the side of the irmain road between Wrey's Bush and Winton. • At the inquest to-day, the evidence •showed positively that the child had '■breathed and that it had been injured on the back of the skull and had a broken jaw. A verdict of wilful murder by some person or persons unknown -was returned.
