DOGS IN THE PARK LAKE.

Bathers at the Park Lake have a grievance against the owners of dogs, who allow their canines to participate in the bathing privileges of the Lake. They maintain that while it doubtless gives a great deal of pleasure to the dogs to disport themselves amongst the bathers in the Lake, the practice is not exactly in accordance with very ordinary health regulations. It has been suggested that the difficulties of bathing and cleansing dogs could be effectively overcome if the Park authorities were to allot a separate strip of water in the Park for their especial use.
