RACING.

TURF NOTES. (By "Zetland."l The Feilding meeting opens on , Monday, and with the numerous acceptances received there should be a satisfactory number of starters in all the events, and consequently interesting racing. Class horses £are always well represented at Feilding, as the stake money given is substantial. The principal event, St. Andrew's Handicap, will bring out good performers in Moral, Tangimoana, Mahuta, Husbandman, White Lie, San Julie, Riflemaiud, and Tan San, and is sure to be a well contested event. Of the eleven acceptors in the Flying Stakes, recent winners are Rangipapa, Golden Eagle, Lothair, Toa/fuhi, Andrew Mack, and Voetgang, while Crucinella and Muskerry have been Running very prominently. In the Aorangi Welter there are a fine lot of weight carriers, including Kangihaeata, winner of the Waverley Cup, Buoyant, Aorangi and Shuja, all of which are forward in condition. A good field of sprinters will be seen out in the Hack Fiying, and backers will perhaps find it difficult to find the winner from a number of horses of practically equal merit. Advantage, Andrew Mack, Sir Antrim, Eaosevelt, Vi, Investment, btiujj, and Timothy are ali fast over six furlongs. In the Kiwitea Welter exceptionally capable candidates for a solid race will be found in Bourrasque, Waitapu, Ikon, Sandstream, Nova, Grenade, Carissima, and Blue Ribbon, who will probably be among the starters, and the race will create nearly as much interest as the principal event. At Opaki on Thursday morning, Interesting work was witnessed. San Julie, Riflemaid, (both St. Andrew's Handicap candidates) and Blue Ribbon were associated over a mile on the plough. The first named finished slightly in front of Riflemaid, with Blue Ribbon three lengths away. Moloch beat Osiris over six furlongs, and Lucretius had a little the best of a similar gallop with Merrie Rose. Sunbonnet was too good for Aberration over five furlongs, run in good time, and Sealer beat the Bonnie Scotland mare over half a mile. St. Charles and the Merrie England—Prologue colt sprinted a couple of furlongs round the back, and slow work was allotted Lebeceio, Culver Lass and Tumut. Kiltie Lass and Pukewhai finished together over five furlongs. Mr W. E. Bidwill's Provocation a Feilding Stakes candidate, was taken through on Thursday. Riflemaid, San Julie and Blue Ribbon will probably be railed to Feilding to-day. WOODVILLE ACCEPTANCES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WOODVILLE, November 26.
