Hurdle Races : The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry lOlbs penalty in the hurdle races, of two or more hurdle races 211bs penalty. WEIGHTS for all races on the First Day of the meeting will be declared on Monday, 23rd November, 1908, and for all races on the Second Day at about 8.30 p.m. on the evening of the first dav's race* 5 . ACCEPTANCES for ail races on the First Day of meeting and ENTRANCE for Maiden Plate and Scurry Hack close with the Seeretarv at Woodville at 8 p m. on FRIDAY, 27"th November, and for all Second Day's Races, will close with the Secretary at the Club 8 rooms, Woodville, at 9-30 on the evening of the First Day's Races. On Monday and Tuesday, 30th November and Ist December, the morning train from Master-ton (6.30 a.m.) will connect at Terrace End with special train leaving Palmerston at 10.30 a.m. for Feilding. Special train will leave Feilding 5.45 p in.,J[and arrive Palmerston 6.20 p.m. The usual 5,10 p.m train will be delayed each day to leaye Palmerston at 6.50 p.m. for Dannevirke, and the usual 6.55 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Woodville at 8.5 p.m., (after connecting with 6.50 p.m. train from Palmerston) for Masterton. Holiday excursion tickets, available for return till 4th December, will be issued to Feilding on 30th November, and by morning train on Ist December from Dannevirke, Masterton, and infermediate stations. These tickets will not be available by the mail trains between Palmerston and Feilding. BY ORDER. MASTERTON BOROUGH.
