The Antwerp sales closed with prices confirming the advances. Out of 5,196 bales of La Plata offered, 4,011 were sold.
P The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner,dated London. November 20th: —"The wool market is advancing steadily, and there is more demand. Estimated values are as follow36's low crossbred?, lid; 40 J s low crossbreds, llfd; 44's medium crossbreds, lsOJd; 50's halfbreds, ls4d; 56's quarterbreds, Is 6|d; 60's merinos, Is llid."
