THE BURNS-SQUIRES BATTLE.
Wbat cannot fail to prove an interesting event, will be the first presentation to-morrow evening, at the Town Hall, of the contest for the Boxing Championship of the World between Burns and Squires, and which will be re-fought, per medium of the Biograph. Messrs MacMahon and Carroll, who, in conjunction with Mr Edwin Geach, secured the worlds rights of cinematographing the boxing contest, succeeded beyond expectation in obtaining a reproduction of the event which is said to be realistic in the last degree, Two nights after the actual battle it was refought, by medium of the biograph, upon the same spot—the 'Stadium' —before an audience of upwards of eight hundred spectators, exciting the greatest enthusiasm. An item of special interest will be the actual appearance of one of the participants, Bill Squires, 'who will appear in person and give an exhibition of punching the ball and other athletic exercises. The first half of the entertainment will be devoted to the exhibition] for the first time here, of a newj series of the latest cinematograph pictures.
