The receipts for the meeting amounted to £3,067—a decrease of £l,lOl as compared with the last spring meeting.

FEILDING SCRATCHINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. FEILDING, November 20. The following horses have been scratched for all engagements at the Feilding meeting : Polyanthus, Kopu, Espatero, Ringdove, Nobel, Exmoor, Waimaria, Saga. Acceptances for all handicaps and entries for Maiden Hack Scurry in connection with the Feilding Jockey Club's forthcoming meeting close on Monday next, at 8.30 p.m. NAPIER, November 20. The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Metropolitan Committee upheld the appeal of B. Deeley (jockey) against the disqualification imposed by the Poverty Bay Turf Club on October 20th, 1908, and further declined to endorse the disqualification imposed on Struthers and the horsfe Andrew Mack.
