SPECIAL COMMISSIONERS' RE-
PORT. A REMARKABLE IMPROEMENT Received November 20, 9 a.m. LONDON, November 1& , A special committee of British wine-buyers, at the instance of the Agents-General, have reported on the Australian wine exhibits at the Franco-British Exhibition. They state that there has been a remarkable improvement in recent years, especially in red wines. New South Wales is particularly mentioned. The report speaks highly of the brandies, but less favourably of the white wines, burgundies, and hocks.
