THE BURNS-SQUIRES FIGHT.
What promises to be an attraction of great novelty will be the cinematographic representation, on Tuesday and Wednesday next, at the Town Hall, of the recent fistic encounter for the world's championship between Burns and Squires. The reproduction, for which Messrs Geach, MacMahon and Carroll are responsible, is pronounced to be an extraordinary feat of living photography. In addition to the Burns-Squires struggle, the programme will commence with a delightful series of diversified subjects, including the great Marathon race from Windsor to the Franco-British Exhibition, His I Majesty the King opening the Olympic games, and many other highly interesting and amusing picture surprises. The second part will comprise the preliminaries and each of ~the thirteen rounds from "handshake to knock-out." An interesting item is the annoancement that Bill Squires in person will explain the main incidents of the encoutner and give an exhibition of ball-punching and other exercises indulged in by those in training for fistic honours. The box plan wili open to-day at I Miss Rive's.
