The Divisional Court set aside subpoenas served on Mr Asquith, Prime Minister, and Mr Herbert Gladstone, Home Secretary, to attend a Leeds Suffragette trial, as the witnesses considered that the objcet of the subpoena.-? was to annoy them and interrupt their public duties.
