The following is Captain Edwin's forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow: — "Expect easterly gale, probably with rain, north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan; moderate to strong easterly winds thence to Hokitika and Lyttelton; northerly, moderate, to strong elsewhere; and falling barometer in all parts."
