A DIVORCE CASE.

Received November 15, 4.25 p.m. LONDON, November 14. Mrs Armstrong, wife of Madame "Melba's son, obtained a divorce from her husband 01 the ground of cruelty and adultery. It was stated in evidence that on one occasion defendant had been dragged from under a lady's bed in the Metropole Hotel. On another occasion plaintiff's husband demanded £7,000 or threat- ~"< ened a divorce suit. Plaintiff com- , plained of the many cruelties she < had suffered at the hands of her hus--1 band. The case was not defended.
