STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows:—We held our fortnightly sale at Eketahuna on Friday. We had a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep sold well, and we cleared everything except one small line. There was also a good sale for cattle of good quality. We quote:—Ewes and lambs 14s 6d to 19s 3d, dry ewes 8s 6d to 13s 6d, hoggets 8s 6d, 8s 9d, 9s, 9s 6d. On account of John Cross, Esq., 1,000 mixed hoggets lis 3d. Cattle —4-year-old bullocks to £5 17s 6d, 3year bullocks £4 10s, 2 to 2\ do. £3 15s to £A 2s 6d, empty cows 35s to £2 lis, cows and calves £2 7s 6d, empty heifers £2 7s 6d, mixed yearlings 22s 6d to 31s.
