A NATIVE FEUD.
A NIGHT SURPRISE. BODIES FOUND IN BUSH. Received November 13, 10.20 a.m. PERTH. November 13.
In regard to the finding in the bush near Laverton (Mount Margaret goldfield district) of the bodies of natives who had apparently been dead a week, it transpires that the number of corpses was eight (nicluding those of two women), and not seven, as originally reported. Apparently their camp had been surprised by night by Darlot blacks, with whom they had a feud. The bodies bore spear and nulla wounds.
