COMPLIMENTARY DINNER.
PRESENTATION TO HON. J. G;
JENKINS
Received November 12, 10.15 p.m LONDON, November 12.
The Hon. J. G. Jenkins, late Agent-General for South Australia, was entertained at a complimentary dinner, at which Mr YV. IJ.1 J . Reeves, Commissioner for New Zealand, and other Agents-General were present. The Earl of Jersey presided, and presented Mr Jenkins with a watch and jewellery subscribed by friends. In replying, Mr Jenkins advocated a strong Commonwealth immigration policy. The greatest protection would be to fill the country with British paople.
