The third day's racing in connection with the Auckland Racing Club's spring meeting took place today. Results: — Hunters' Steeplechase, 3 milesLaddie, 10.7 (Mr Gorrie), 1; Mozart, 10.9, 2; Bachelor, 12.3, 3. Also started—Warden, Connecticut, Hardy, Irish Jig, Tom Burns. Won by two lengths.

Wynyard Handicap, 7 furlongs Royal Soult, 7.9 (Buchanan). 1; Santa Rosa, 8.0, 2; Muskerry, 8.2, 3. Also started—Tui Cakabau, Advocate, Rimlock and Landlock. Won by half a length. Maiden Hurdles, H milss—Luscombe, 9.10 (Cowan), 1; San Paulo, 9.3, 2; Mark Time, 9.4, 3. Scratched —Paritutu. Won all the way.
