PAHIATUA GUN CLUB.

The Pahiatua Gun Club's matc"n of twenty-one birds for £ls, £7 and £5 prizes came off to-day, some twenty shots from all parts entering. Despite the keen wind, some excellent shooting was made, especially in the subsequent match for a sweepstake. The big match was won by Skipage, with eighteen birds, Sidey, Tanner and Cooper tieing for second place and dividing tho prize money. In the sweepstake, Pitts secured first place, and Rhodes, Balfour and Garlick tied for second place. The shoot-off resulted in favour of Garlick, with Rhodes third.
