NO PROSPECTIVE SOTS IN THAT LOT.
(To the Editor)
Sir,—lf the congregation of fine healthy children seen at the demostracion in the Masterton Park on Sunday is representative of the disastrous results wrought amongst the child life of this community by the drink trafPc, then let ua have more of it. Not a poorly dressed or neglected child i/i the whole six hundred —but an assemblage of children that reflected the greatest credit upon the mothers of this commuity. There were no prospective sots amongst that lot—the healthy home influence was unmistakedly stamped on each "and every one of thsm. Yet doubtless the parents of numbers of them take stimulants in moderation.—l am, etc., OBSERVER.
