THE TINY DOT MINSTRELS.
In the Masterton Town Hall on Monday evening next, an entertainment will be given by Miss Ettie Joyce's Tiny Dot Minstrels, when, if the merits of the performers receives the support it deserves, there should be a packed house. A full dress rehearsal was held by the minstrels in the Town Hall last evening, when the whole programme was gone through without a hitch, an exceedingly interesting entertainment being provided by the clever children comprising the minstrels. The songs, choruses, and recitations were exceptionally well rendered, and gave ample evidence of the very thorough tuition the children have received at the hands of Miss Ettid Joyce. The entertainment is being given as a benefit to Mr Thos. Joyce, who through illness has been incapacitated from work for nearly two years, and whose condition at the present time is critical. The services of Miss Ettie Joyce, a particularly capable little actress tor one so young, have always freely been given to the cause that needed assistance, and it is therefore to be hoped that the public of Masterton will show its appreciation by according a bumper house at the Town Hall on Monday evening.
