AUCKLAND, November 4. The bulk of horses were restricted to steady pacing at Eilerslie this morning. Bullworth ran a round of the sand in 2min 9sec.' Sediton and Inglis finished together after a 5 furlong sprint in lmin 7 l-ssec. All the visiting horses have now arrived, and the gathering promises to be a successful one. / __' ' RICCARTON GALLOPS. CHRISTCHURCH, November 4. It was an off-day at Riccarton. Mahuta did six furlongs, the last four in 53 l-ssec. Mon Amie went half a mile in 48 3-ssec. Gold Crest beat Gipsy Belle easily over six furlongs in lmin 17sec. Moriarty easily had the best of bunglow over half a mile, run in 48sec. Armlet did steady pacing. Frisco and Apa went a mile and three-quarters, Apa having the best of the go. The last mile and a quarter occupied 2min 15 4-ssec. Lyrist beat Playmate over ten furlongs in 2min IS 2-ssec. Hero then went twice round at a steady pace, moving /reely. The others out did j half to three-quarter work. I
