- * LABOUR AND GERMAN VOTE. deceived November 2, 10.15 p.m. NEW YORK, November 3. Samuel Gompers, President of the Labour Federation, has decided to. give Mr Bryan the Labour vote. Ridder, the political leader of the German element, is trying +o do the same with the German vote. It is reported that he is taking this step at the dictation of Berlin, which desires to see Mr Bryan reduce the tariff. The Irish vote will go to the candidate.
