AMBULANCE SATURDAY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 1. The annual street collections for the St. John Ambulance Association were made in Wellington yesterday. The weather was showery and cold, no doubt keeping many people out of the streets and interfering with the collections. The total number of coins contributed was about 23,000, representing £290 17s 4d. ( Last year the Ambulance Saturday efforts resulted in £3lO being gathered in.
