At a meeting of the executive of *the spinners, cardroom hands, and weavers of Lancashire, Mr D/ J. v Shackieton (Labour M.P.,fox 1 ' theClitberoe Division of Lancashire and of the Weavers' Amalga-> mation) presiding, it was resolved to approach the masters with joint proposals to be hereafter drafted.^
