THE PRIME MINISTER.
VISIT TO STEWART ISLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. INVERCARGILL, October 28. Sir J. G. Ward went to Stewart Island to-day. He was cordially welcomed by the inhabitants, who passed a vote of thanks and confidence to him. To-night he was entertained at a banquet by the Bluff Borough Council. He will visit several places tomorrow, and leave on Friday morning for Temuka.
